Biography:

Bill oversees the biennial budget process for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. He coordinates development of budget and policy issue papers, prepares the department's formal budget proposal, and serves as liaison with the State Budget office and Legislative Fiscal Bureau. Bill also advises the department on policy matters including climate change, land use, food systems, and economic analysis.

He serves on the Wisconsin Economic Roundtable (a state agency advisory group) and has provided staff support to the Governor’s Global Warming Task Force, the Wisconsin Working Lands Initiative, and the Governor’s Consortium on Bio-based Industry.
