American Society of Civil Engineers
ASCE has adopted a policy position emphasizing the need to consider climate change in civil engineering project design. Additionally, ASCE’s national Committee on Adaptation to a Changing Climate, formed in 2011, evaluates the technical requirements and civil engineering challenges for adapting to a changing climate.

Infrastructure and Climate Network
The Infrastructure and Climate Network (ICNet) is a network of over 60 academics, students, and practitioners who are dedicated to accelerating climate science and engineering research in the Northeastern United States. The ICNet focuses on climate change and sea level rise impacts and adaptation for sustainable bridges, roads, and transportation networks. The ICNet was established in October 2012 with support from the National Science Foundation. Data, publications, and video meeting links are open to practicioners worldwide.
Water Utility Climate Alliance
Water Utility Climate Alliance was developed to collect and distribute climate change impact information specifically related to the water and wastewater utility industry. Several publications and webinars are available on their website.
